Grimaldi's

Apparently, this is a really popular, hyped-up, touristy pizza destination - that I'd never heard of before. I asked M if 5pm was too early for dinner. When I got there at 5:15pm, I got my answer - No, it definitely is not. There was already a line - not a huge one, but one nevertheless. The sun was beating down hard and I was sweating just standing there. Not a happy camper. M arrived just as sweaty, and we refreshed with some complimentary water. Our wait wasn't too long (I guess given the hour) and we were so relieved to sit down in air conditioning - even if we were sharing a table elbow-to-elbow with ten other couples.

We ordered a large. A large with extra garlic and mushrooms.

It tasted good. Like, really good. Like, so good that I ate 3 slices of it and M ate the rest - the rest equating 5 slices. Hot Damn! The three slices felt just right - I was full, but not too full that I couldn't head over to The Chocolate Room for some dessert. We scoffed when the male-female couple next to us ordered a small pie to share. Pssshhh.

(M even ordered a pie to go for her husband, and ended up eating a slice on the pier right after we left the restaurant :p)

And as a bonus, here's a view from the pier! :)

ps. If you're planning to go, you need to go ASAP. Before they get evicted!
