Penang

There are several branches of this restaurant, and I can recall having been to at least three - definitely not my first visit to Penang. We got there fairly late for dinner - at least late per our usual dinner times - but there was still quite a long wait for a table. So by the time we were seated, we were so hungry, we ended up ordering way too much! But hey, that's what doggie bags are for :) M had been craving some roti canai, so we ordered two dishes of the yummy bread-chicken curry combo. For the main course, we went family style with some Ayam Rendang (more chicken curry), the house Penang Tofu (tofu with steamed veggies), pineapple fried rice, and seabass in black bean sauce. The chicken was fairly spicy, the tofu was yellow (but in a good way), and the fried rice was incredibly tasty. Of course, I didn't try the seabass, but I'm sure it was yummy too! Obviously, between just the three of us, we ordered more than our stomachs could handle, and there was absolutely no room for dessert. No worries though - we can grab some next time we're there :)
