Pino's

Finally, we can all say we've had the Pino's dining experience.... And now, there's really no reason to go beyond the bakery at the front door. (where did the pizzeria go?!) The food was decent, but it was nowhere near yummy enough for the hefty price paid. The photo shows the slightly overcooked, charred fois gras with cooked pears and a drizzling of wine reduction sauce. Also on the "tried it" list are the gnocchi (undercooked), lobster stuffed veal, meat combo bonanza (obviously i forgot the real name), some other pasta dishes and a fish dish. All in all, a pretty unmemorable meal to end a Father's Day celebration. The dessert was good, but also seemed like nothing special... something I could probably make on my own... for a fraction of the price.
