Juan Valdez

I'm one of those people that frequents Starbucks so often, that my drink is on the counter by the time I get there to pay. So it's no surprise that I've also tried their sandwiches - but this post isn't about them. This post is about the time I got bored of the monotony and wanted to try something new. I always thought Juan Valdez was too far of a walk, but wow, it's MUCH closer than I thought (1 long + 1 short block). I went a little crazy and not only did I get a sandwich, but I also ordered a coffee to try! *gasp* Yep, straight up. I don't drink SB coffee cause I love it, but merely for the caffeine (& the yummy syrup I order with it =P). So I have no reservations in saying that Mr. Valdez's coffee was...perty decent. XP Honestly, it was a bit sour, so I didn't love it. But compared to SB-sans-syrup, it's better (of course, some would disagree). I picked out a turkey sandwich, and I'd have to say it was better than I was expecting. I'd also have to say this wins out over the SB sandwiches I've tried. Yep, I done said it.
